Udupi, May 26: Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy in association with Tulu Mitrer, Bangalore has organized a symposium on "Mandara Ramayana" on Saturday May 27 evening. The programme "Mandara Ramayana - A Symposium" will be held at "Dhwnyaloka", in the Nalanda Building of MGM College here.

Heranje Krishna Bhat, director, Govinda Pai Research Centre here would be the chief guests on the occasion.

Dr K Abhaykumar, professor of Mangalore University Kannada department will present his views on "Mandara Ramayana - Poetry and Life" while Padekallu Vishnu Bhat, senior scholar will present a paper on "Mandara Ramayana in Tradition of Ramayana."  Noted Kannada writer B M Rohini will present her views on "Women in Mandara Ramayana."

Tulu Sahitya Academy president M K Sitaram Kulal would preside over the symposium.
