CCL members from Kerala deplaned from flight for 'misbehaviour'

Kochi, Feb 21 (PTI): A 28-member Kerala Strikers team, en route to Hyderabad to participate in the ongoing Celebrity Cricket League, were today deplaned from an Indigo Airlines Kochi-Hyderabad flight here for alleged misbehaviour with the crew.

Following a complaint of misbehaviour by the flight crew, the pilot ordered that the team be deplaned, only after which the flight would take off, airport sources said.

The 6E314 flight to Hyderabad was to take off at 1.00 PM.

Following the incident, all the team members, including actor Bineesh Kodiyeri, were deplaned.

The team was on its way to Hyderabad to participate in a Celebrity cricket league match.

Airport sources said they had not received any complaint so far and once they get it, it would be handed over to local police.

    Unfortunate behavior of CCL members from Kerala on the flight resulted with deplanning from the flight.Not good example of sportsmanship exhibited by the players.Thanq.

    Fully agree with Mr Prasheesh Kumar. S. , Mumbai. I had similar experience couple of times. Even public forget everything and pay attention to their drama. Good action by pilot.

    These Filmy people, whether from Malayalam, Telugu, or Hindi film-line , they always behave in a very ugly manner in the airport as well as inside the plane and try to attract the attention of other people around as if they are from Mars and other passengers are just beggars. They create nuisance everywhere which I have seen myself during my journey from Mumbai to Hyderabad and Hyderabad to Bengaluru several times.
