Bantwal: Inflammatory speech - Complaint against Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat

Bantwal, Feb 22: A complaint was registered in Vittal police station on the evening of Friday February 21 against prominent Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader, Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat.

Bhat has been accused of delivering an address and trying to flare communal passions by making derogatory references to Quran and Bible.

The complaint was made by Abdulla Nadaje from Manchi in Kolnad village.

Allegedly, Bhat, in his address delivered on February 16 evening, told the gathering that Hinduism happens to be the lone generally acceptable religion of the world, and that India is not home to any other religion. “How can Quran and Bible, which preach slaining of others, can be holy?” he reportedly queried.

Abdulla also complained that Bhat, in the speech delivered at the said function organized to celebrate 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda by Salethur Hindu Hitarakshana Samiti, also insulted Muslim community by referring to them as Bearys in a condemnable way.

The police have registered the complaint under sections 153A and 295 of Indian Penal Code, it is learnt.

We can only speak the religion of love, we love everybody and don’t expect anything back, the very good nature of soul will make you feel connected. Never trade with love viz giving and taking.. all the Bible, Vedas, Quran and all the holy books can only show us the way to live a life with love, but the actual soul consciousness (seeing the god) which will lead to universal consciousness and expression of love will come from the pure heart. Understanding our soul will be easy by loving mankind and helping the needy, then sitting and doing nothing.. In the end only love, peace and joy remains.

Nobody wants to live a life of words and theory, experimenting with the perfection of life without doing a single sin and searching the god in all is the target of religion.
Sometimes I feel if we all can live happily in a world of love and peace, is there any need to follow any religion, is it not love towards mankind a universal religion. There is no one way to attain realization, you can not give the same size coat to everybody, they will have different taste and likes.. Each one is different from each other, but still wants to be connected to all. We are children of this nature and our mother nature will never like children’s fighting.. Unity in diversity and variety is the nature of Mother Nature, it will accommodate all. Nobody can force anything in this kingdom of mother nature, in the garden only end point is seen, you can travel in any direction u want to reach the end, meeting the end point is more important than the way u travel, who fight in between, telling follow me or my way is the best, is wasting time and never be able to meet the end. Everybody has the power of their self and can decide which way to follow without any force. You can join hands and go together with joy and attain the end together. Hope the point is very clear. Everybody has the right to follow any religion they want and attain the realization of god in any form. we cant act like the frog in the well by telling my religion is the best or other religion is not.. if u do so we will never attain our goal of life.
Religion is more personal in nature. A true christian/hindu/muslim will never insult any religion, he may hurt himself but not others.. Every child thinks his dad is the best, never tries to experiment, she keeps in her mind only.

Even though Mr. Bhat is the VHP chief of entire south India, he gives sp-each only in South Kanara. That itself shows, there are a maximum number of pseudo hypocrites in this area.

The fact is that the majority of Christians (the ones in Kerala) are there since 2000 years The British had nothing to do with it. The rest of the Christians were converted by Portuguese and French. Muslims in the DK are and in Kerala were not converted by "invadors". There was a peaceful conversion and integration over centuries by the sufi muslims who came from Yemen and arabia.

Your prayer is not to get anything but asking not to be involved in the result or the fruit. It’s just to love the god and love all who love god. Seeing god in all is the best way or worship which god also wants. Never fight in the name of religion, never be a slave to the matter, you should control the matter. Occasionally DK Police raid prostitution dens and arrest the women. 99% percent of those women caught happen to be Hindu women. The basic point is that people like Kalladka Bhat get tempted to use such language is because of the publicity it fetches. I feel ignorance is the best medicine.
If Abdulla Nadaje had ignored it, the matter would have been settled down. Now that he has taken an initiative, it is the responsibility of the government to take action.
I support Modi and his nationalist views, but not Bhat and thogadia. I wonder what the secular(so called) congress government is doing when cases are filed against thogadia and bhat?

Registering complaints against Mr. Bhat is just an exercise in futility. In Saudi Arabia in a muslim religious meet, a British National stood and challenged the preacher to come out of SA & discuss the subject with him and he would get proper answer, the preacher did not. While respecting Hindu religion, we would appreciate if Mr Bhat can go out of india and prove how Quran and Bible are unholy.

No need to take much serious about Kalladka joker's speech. Even our secular hindu brothers are maintaining distance from him nowadays. He is doctor by profession but he is using the language like a illiterate person. He want to keep entire hindu community under the control of RSS. Hindus should vote for whom, to which school they have to send their children, what dress they have to wear? to whom they can talk and to whom they cannot talk? everything will be decided by KP Bhat & RSS. This is purely denial of rights which given by the Indian constitution to the citizens. But from now onwards hindu community cannot enjoy with these rights, slowly slowly they are coming under the control of Sangha Parivaar.

Mr Dharmendra, this is a democracratic republic of India. You are not to decide about others to convert to Hinduism. Dr Ambedkar, chairman of constitution himself converted from Hinduism to Buddhism. So it is anti-national to speak against the constitution and the committee who drafted it.

Just because conversion may have happened forcefully to some of our ancestors in the past it does not mean anybody has the right to 'forcefully' re-convert' anyone of the present generation. Remember a lot of conversion has also happened voluntarily as many low caste Hindus wanted to escape social discrimination. Even today we see mass conversions of Dalits to Buddhism.
In an independent, democratic country like India people cannot and should not be forced or lured into conversion. Conversion if desired should be purely left to the individual concerned to decide.

Don't lie. There is no compulsion in religion in Islam. We muslims cannot force anybody to embrace Islam, and that is not teaching of Islam.

For your kind information, muslims ruled India hundreds of years i.e. they ruled more than 800 years. If muslims used force to embrace Islam, then the entire Indians would have been muslims now. But look at the ground reality in India, Majority are Hindus in our country.

Even though Muslims ruled India for more than 800 hundred years, they did not force people because as per Quranic / Islamic teachings, there is no compulsion in religion. We can teach the message of islam, but to embrace islam, it is left to their own decision.

Therefore, do not put false allegations on Muslims. Be fair Ok!
