Manipal University hosts national-level 'Conscendo' fest

Udupi, Feb 23: 'Conscendo' – the National Level Management Fest organised by the Department of Commerce Manipal University, was formally inaugurated on February 21 by Dr RC Natarajan, director, TAPMI, Manipal.

Prof Sandeep Shenoy, head of the Department of Commerce, Prof Guruprasad Rao and Prof Praveen Kumar, the faculty coordinators of 'Conscendo2014', and Gerald Noronha, Sarbashish Basu and Bharath Jayakumar, the student coordinators of the event were present on the dais.

 'Conscendo' provides a platform to the students to exhibit their management skills and expertise. The mega event was held on February 21 and February 22 .

9 teams from different colleges across the country participated in the various events namely Best Manager, Business Quiz, Finance,  Marketing, Human Resource and Entrepreneurship. The theme for Conscendo 2014 “Inspired by Life” was unveiled during the inauguration ceremony. The cultural program will be held in the evening in the amphitheater. 

The chief guest Prof R C Natarajanin his speech said that competition and cooperation should go hand in hand and winning with grace is more important than winning at all costs. He wished the participating teams all the best.
