Udupi: 5-year-old boy goes missing, kidnap suspected

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (SP)

Udupi, Feb 25: A five-year-old boy, who had left home on Sunday February 23 evening, went missing mysteriously, giving sleepless nights to the parents. The incident occurred at Pamboor near Padubelle, Kaup.

The boy in question, Naveen (5), son of Nagaraj and Asha from Tamil Nadu, who have been living at Dharmashree Colony in Pamboor for the last several years, was seen playing in the courtyard of his home, just before going missing. He had told the family that he would return after visiting the home of his maternal uncle in the neighbourhood.

Some people had seen him approaching the road nearby. After the news about the disappearance of the boy spread, people of the locality went searching for him, but to no avail. After continuing search operations till midnight, the concerned filed complaint at Shirva police station.

While the policemen are continuing with their investigation, there is strong suspicion that the child would have been kidnapped by a gang involved with child trafficking. Parents of the missing boy are very poor.

Totally blame the parents. Any parents let a 5 year old child without accompanying that too to visit the relatives alone. Can't believe. Parents, please do not send your kids alone anywhere

OMG! Entry of dangerous criminal activity of kidnapping small children for trafficking seems to have arrived in DK!! This shows the deteriorating law and order situation that a once peaceful, beautiful district is becoming famous for all wrong reasons!!

This is really shocking news for those having small children and the kidnappers should be arrested as early as possible!!!

Parents of all children aged 5-7 years needs to be taken very care full before such incidents will happen. The elders of each family must be followed like shadow in each movement of their children. Step by step of our child, we should be alert upon the activities of child thieves, black magicians, kidnappers etc. Now a days situation is very very worst. Instead of blaming the police or the govt., our children's rescue is in the hand of each matured family member by way of taking precautionary measures rather than repent over such incidents later.

After Burglary now the time for kidnaping especially those villages which falls under Shirva Police Station. So many thefts took place in 2013 and Shirva police not able to catch even one thief and now what do you expect apart from the Shirva Police Only their Vague statement of Kidnaping? Useless!

Looks like "Bayliyeay Holavannu maidaga" Police station and all the police team is under politicians and gangs control!!! When this happens, you can read only crimes in the daily newspapers, TV channels, websites etc. etc…

This may be the Gang that Sells the Small children to Childless Family, or maybe the Gang that uses Children for drug trafficking or begging by making them handicapped. This Gang is mainly active in Mumbai and North India who target children of poor families as they do not put much pressure on police for searching their missing children. Now it seems this gang has spread to South India and having Local associates too.

You are right sir, there are well organized gangs who target children from the poorer vulnerable sections to kidnap children and force them into various anti-social activities!! It is very important that this incident be taken seriously and the perpetrators brought to justice as early as possible!!

So sad, why this innocent small boy is being tortured like this?
Kidnapers are DEMONS in human form!
They forget that they too were small, innocent and helpless, like this small boy!
For ransom money torturing Angel like small boy? What might be going through in the mind of this boy and his parents!
    Kidnappers deserve harshest punishment!
