Mangalore, May 28: ‘Do Re Me Fa,’ the regular column in Daijiworld written by Gerry D' Mello, popularly known in the field of Konkani music, poetry, dramatics, compering and journalism will now be released in a book form.
Raknno Konkani weekly has organized a programme on Tuesday, May 30 during which this book, a compilation of lives and achievements of renowned Konkani composers and singers will be released, along with ‘Kanun Darshan’ a book on legal information for the common people. The programme will begin at 3.30 pm.
The programe which will be held on May 30 at the Bishop House here will be graced by Mangalore Bishop Fr Aloysius Paul D’Souza who will release ‘Do Re Me Fa.’

The event will also be an occasion to bid farewell to Fr Eric Crasta who served as editor of Raknno and Kajulo for a period of eight years. The new editor Fr Francis Rodrigues will take charge of the publications from Fr Eric Crasta.
Yet another event for the day will be the distribution of the Bible Quiz Bumper Prize which carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000.
