St Aloysius College Alumni Assn felicitates achievers

Mangalore, Feb 28: The Alumni Association of St Aloysius College organized an eventful program on February 21 at St Aloysius High School Hall to felicitate and honor achievers and former presidents.

Prof Edmund Frank was honored for his achievement in the field of academics and farming while Edwin JF D ’Souza and Paul Moras were awarded  for their contribution to Konkani language literature and culture.

John Prasad Menezes was felicitated on his recent appointment as independent director of  MRPL  by the Government of India and N G Mohan on his appointment as chief district commissioner of Scouts and Guides

The following past presidents were also honored Santhosh Kumar Kadri,  Zozimus Pais, Winston D’Souza, Arthur D’Souza, N.G.Mohan, Edwin J F D’Souza, Edmund Frank
 
Felix F D’Silva was felicitated for his successful organizing efforts as convener of the SACAA Reunion 2014.

The Honoring was done by the rector Fr. Denzil Lobo, director of SCAA,  Fr Swebert D’Silva, assistant director of SACAA Fr Francis D Almeida and
president Michael D’Souza.

The president Michael D’ Souza welcomed the gathering. He said “the reunion 2014 program of January 12 was appreciated by all. Professor Dr Richard Gonsalves presented a brief introduction.

Director Fr Swebert D’Silva during his speech appreciated the present team lead by Michael D’ Souza the president.

The rector in his address said that Jesuits have a track record of imparting quality education of over 500 years. The program concluded with dinner.
