Udupi, May 30: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy is rushing to DK and Udupi districts to personally review rain relief works.

The CM will reach Mangalore on Tuesday, May 30 by bus and will hold a calamity relief review meeting at the DC's office in the morning.  Later he will visit Malpe at 12 noon. He is also expected to review the relief works in Malpe. 

Rs 1 lac compensation   

Meanwhile,    the Udupi   District   in-charge Minister V S Acharya declared the CM's announcement of compensation of Rs 1 lac each to the families of the fishermen who died in the cyclone tragedy.

Acharya told reporters that CM has assured that he will consider the demand for deploying a rescue boat of the Coast Guard at Malpe Harbour.
