Madrid, March 3 (IANS): Real Madrid are precariously perched at the top of the Spanish Primera Liga soccer league table, just a point ahead of Barcelona and three in front of Atletico after their Marid derby ended in a 2-2 draw.
A win for Real Sunday would have put them six points clear of their neighbors, but Atletico knew that if they could overcome the league leaders it would leapfrog them in the table.
