Udupi: Man found dead at under mysterious circumstances at Katapady

Udupi, Mar 4: A man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Katapady here on Tuesday March 4.

The deceased was identified as Ellappa Hanumathappa (57) from Bijapur.

Strangely, Ellappa's body was found in a sitting position, tied with a coir rope to the gate of a house opposite Canara Bank at Katapady.

Sources said that he was working at the house of a person named P C Pai.

Ellappa's wife stays in a house a little distance away from the spot where the body was found, it is learnt.

The cause of the death is not yet known.

Kaup police arrived at the spot and conducted investigation.

A case has been registered in Kaup police station.

I am sure it is a murder.The culprits have murdered this man and made his body to sit in the sitting position giving rope in his hand.May his soul rest in peace.

If the dead person was a girl or woman , then it would certainly created chaeos or made news headlines , as its the election time.If he was in distress there is no NGO.to counsel men . Now its just a general news still we say its male dominated society.

Really felt very sad after seeing the picture, no value for human life. Must have murdered him for a silly reason.
