Karkala, Mar 11: In connection with the Mamastakabhisheka along with Prathishta Panchakalyana of the idols of Sri Adinatha Swamy, Sri Bahubali Swamy and Sri Bharatha Swamy held last year, annual puja programme of the consecration of the idols had been arranged at Sri Siddhagiri shrine in Sri Ananthanatha Swamy Basadi at Shirlalu near here. Mass chanting of hymns by the devotees also formed part of the programmes. These idols had been installed by the late Ratnavarma Poovani couple.
91 devotees, who had abided by the conditions of religious observances after taking a religious vow, participated in the puja ritual. Vardhamana Indra participated as celebrant. Hemavati Heggade Dharmasthala was present.
