Kundapur: Private bus topples after tyre bursts - five injured

Kundapur, March 11: The tyre of a private bus burst and caused it to topple into a roadside ditch injuring five passengers on Tuesday March 11. The condition of the driver of the bus is said to be serious.

The incident occurred at Darimakki near Kalthodu in Byndoor at 9.45 am.







The driver has been identified as Daranatha and the injured passengers are Reshma Honnavar (20), Narasimha Mogaveera (45), Babu Kalthodu (28), and Devadas Bhandary(35).

The private bus was plying to Balamballi via Kundapur-Kalthodu road when the front tire exploded causing the driver to lose control.  The seriously injured bus driver has been admitted to a private hospital in Manipal and the others are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kundapur.

    These are bus accidents due to the sudden technical defect in bursting the tyre which no one can forecast and take corrective steps.Thanks, no much damage to the passenger's life.Thanq.

    After running so much on the road finally bus wants rest and wants to sleep.
    thank god no life loss was happened
    speedy recovery to bus driver.
