Mangalore: St Antony College Building inaugurated at Naravi

Mangalore, Mar 12: On Monday March 10 at 4 pm the newly built college building was inaugurated and blessed by Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza  Bishop of Mangalore and president of CBE.

He also presided over the stage function. The chief guest professor  P S Yadapadithaya, registrar Mangalore University inaugurated the principal’s office.

CBE secretary Fr Wilson D’Souza felicitated the construction personnel and addressed the gathering.

Fr Francis Almeida vice principal of St Aloysius College Mangalore released the college souvenir on the occasion.

Fr James D’Souza dean of the Belthangady Deanery distributed the prizes to the students.  Sumithra Hegde, Sr  Gracia, Mr Anil Roshan and Mrs Mabel Fernandes were present. 

Minister Abhaya Chandra Jain, MLA Vasanth Bangera, KPCC member Srinivasa V Kini were present on the occasion. Principal Fr Arun Wilson Lobo presented the college report. Chairman Fr Louis Cutinha welcomed, Dinesh B K thanked.

Rajesh Jain and Chaya compeered the programme. Later variety entertainment programme by the students and Orchestra by ‘Shads Music’ Mangalore was held on the occasion.
