Karkala: World oral health day observe at Bailur Govt PU College

Karkala, March 12: “Teeth play a major role in the maintenance of health and beauty of an individual.  Hence everybody should protect their teeth and keep them clean”, said Dr B Rajendra Prasad, Dean and Principal of Mangalore A B Shetty Dental College.

He was speaking after inaugurating world oral health day celebrations held at Bailur Government Pre University College Haldin Hall under the aegis of Neerebailur Lions Club and Mangalore A B Shetty memorial dental college.

Lions zonal president Sujay Jathanna, Dr Dineshchandra Hegde, Bhoja Shetty, Bailur government college vice principal Nagaraj Rao, Health care convener Shantala Jain, Dr Adri, Dr Diana etc participated as chief guests.

Neerebailur Lions Club president Mahesh Rao presided over the programme.  Udaya Hegde compered the programme and proposed vote of thanks.  Government college students, professors and Nitte college staff cooperated for the success of the programme.
