This is just a drama by the so called Congress leaders, they are miserably failed in every department & now trying to fool the community by visiting Bishops & so on. Congress is in power only by doing such dramas otherwise they dont have the least quality to stay in power. I request the Community to vote for BJP wholeheartedly to have a strong, secure Govt at Centre. BJP has the will power to take decisions, also people will abide by their decisions because they have the managing skills. Best example of Congress failure is division of AP. Success story of BJP is they created 3 new states without any hurdle. Congress=Corruption, Mismanagement,Arrogance,Communal.

Vishal..do you guarantee that there won't be any communal riots? Do you guarantee that there will be a transparent governance? Do you guarantee that there will be no corruption? You are talking like Franklin Monteiro (BJP minority Cell) who was making noise some months ago but now vanished...

This is a wrong precedent by CM,HM and Oscar.Religion is a private matter as far as church intervention is concerned. The action by Archbishop is also totally wrong. When Hindus celebrate Hindu samajothsava many people here have commented against it saying that its an election gimmick though no direct refernce made for Hindus to vote for BJP.Our temple/authorities/Math pontiffs never give open call to support any particular candidate/party and even no temple authoriies entertain such issues. In Dharmasthala though all party leaders come for blessings from Sri Veerndra Heggade he never ever supported openly any political party or any other leaders. He is categorically against for such issues taking place in the holy place.
Todays event is really unwarranted as every person from Christian has his own choice bein a fundamental right enshrined by the constitution who he should vote.Support by the Bishop therefore is unconstitutional and needs to be condemned in strongest terms. This action by Bishop will give wings to BJP and others to exploit the situation indulging in similar tactices disturb the peaceful election process.

You are right. Seeking gods blessings through chosen people irrespective of the religion is better than getting cursed by the people for the hatred speech.

Sorry Oscar. We don't want any crocodile tears now. We know what you did during your tenure as MP in Udupi. You were simply sitting in Delhi just as a puppet to Sonia Gandhi, but you never made any good things for people of your ex constituency. I don't want any favors from your for Christian community. But you have an obligation for the people who sent you to lok sabha. Don't think that just because you met Arch Bishop or Bishop of Mangalore or Bishop of Udupi we vote you. We don't see party while voting. We see the candidate and national interest.
