Udupi, Mar 17: Wilfrid V Gomes from Shirva has been selected as chief secretary for the state unit of JD(S) for differently-abled, as recommended by HD Devegowda, ex chief minister.
"You have an important responsibility in terms of the JDS development at the state level; I do hope that you render your services to the welfare of the differently abled as a supreme head," Gowda said.
He is not only an active participant but also the district president of Udupi Zilla differently abled Union, director of Karnataka State Level differently abled Union; he is also a state level winner 2009 and also president of JDS, Udupi District Union.
He is an active member of all the associations in and around Shirva as well as the state.
Currently, he is working as a chief secretary of JDS State Unit. He was awarded the Daijiworld Svabhiman for his social service. He is an active political party worker in Udupi.
