Mangalore, Jun 6: The Postal Finance Mart was inaugurated at Anche Bhavan, Balmatta here on Monday June 5.

South Karnataka Postal Service director S P Rajalingam inaugurated the mart. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Postal Service Mart is the pride of the city and termed the city as the business capital of the state.

He said that the mart would be the agent for Unit Trust of India. It is only the second of its kind in the state.

The mart has set up a special investment desk for its consultancy services. Professional guidance on matters of postal instruments and investment opportunities will be available for the benefit of customers.

Oriental Insurance Company services will also be provided by the mart, which would enable customers to obtain postal life insurance, children's life insurance and rural life insurance.
