Dubai, Jun 6: The young and brave Nirmala Sequeira who was battling for her life  breathed her last this afternoon at the Welcare Hospital in Dubai at 1315 Hours UAE time.

A close family source informed Daijiworld this afternoon that, despite  all the efforts by a team  of expert Doctors from Welcare Hospital Dubai,  were not able to save young Nirmala's life.

This morning, John Sequeira , Nirmala's father contacted Daijiworld to thank for the overwhelming response received from Daijiworld readers. Hundreds of readers from all over UAE and even outside the country offered their prayers and help.  He also informed us that she is responding well for the treatment and may recover soon.

Her mother had revealed earlier that she had hopes in prayers and only prayers have helped her daughter to show signs of recovery.

But the will of God and His ways were different, He chose  Nirmala to be in his paradise.  Suddenly this afternoon, Nirmala's condition deteriorated and she passed away peacefully. 

Nirmala was the daughter of  John Sequeira and Leny Sequeira, and  wife of Jeevan Sequeira of Belman.  She also leaves behind her two younger sisters in Mangalore.

June born Nirmala was to celebrate her 24th birthday on 13 June.  She was married to Jeevan  - an IT professional, only 6 months back and the couple was planning to migrate to US  in the month of July 2006.

The mortal remains will be flown back to Mangalore after completing all legal formalties in Dubai.
