Kasargod, Mar 20: Kerala Chief Minister Umman Chandy has said that the people will teach a lesson to CPM's violent politics.

Speaking at an election discussion programme held at Kasargod Press Club, he said that the murders of RMP leader T P Chandrashekar and Youth league activist Shukoor are an example for it.

"Aikya Ranga wave can be seen in the state.  The present election will be a judgment of two and a half year's rule by the Aikya Ranga government. I will bow to the decision of the people.  UPA government will come back to power at the center. Disputes can be seen in BJP. The left wing has failed to maintain communal harmony. The government has come forward to solve the problems of people in Kasargod," he said.

"The government has not lost even a rupee in the Solar scam but the opposition is alleging of loss in crores," he added.

"The opposition is indulging in petty politics without thinking about the problems of common people.  The wave of Congress led UPA can be felt in the country including Kerala," he said.

Congress district president C K Sridharan, press club president M O Varghese, secretary Unnikrishnan Pushpagiri, V V Prabhakaran and others were present.
