Kasargod, Mar 20: The dead body of a trader was found at a lodge in Bolu Katte in Badiadka.

The deceased has been identified as Balakrishna Pai(55), a resident of Pallathadka Ballambettu.  He was a temporary resident at Bolukatte lodge. It is suspected that he might have died two days ago.

His relatives have said that he had come back after participating in religious programmes at Kedenji Mahavishnumoorthy Kshetra.

When the locals opened the doors and windows following foul smell emanating from the room, he was found fallen on the bed.  The room door was closed from inside.

The police, who were informed, opened the door and sent the body to the government hospital for post mortem.

It is said that he was suffering from epilepsy and assumed to have died after falling unconscious.  He was a farmer, trader and an expert in catching snakes.

It is reported that he was staying in the lodge due to his business.
