Mangalore: St Joseph Feast celebrated at Jeppu parish

Mangalore, Mar 20: Jeppu parish and Jeppu seminary together celebrated feast of St Joseph on Wednesday March 19 Wednesday. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza was the main celebrant and Fr Joseph Martis, rector of the seminary preached on the occasion.

The theme of the feast was reconciliation is a virtue of Christian life. the theme focused on the theme taken by the Mangalore diocese for this year. Preaching on this theme Fr Rector invited to imbibe the  spirit of St Joseph who being a reconciler and peaceful  man surrendered totally to the will of God.

After the mass Bishop delivered the message during which he appealed people to give importance to the Sacrament of Reconciliation. 

At the end Fr Nelson D’Ameida the parish priest of Jeppu Church extended festive greetings to all and thanked various people who rendered their valuable service in the form of donations and helping for the same in various capacities. There were around a1800 people who attended this occassion.
