AAP expels two leaders for fraud

New Delhi, Mar 21 (IANS): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Friday expelled two leaders as they allegedly tried to provide party tickets for monetary consideration.

AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal appealed to ticket seekers that they should not give money to any party member who has assured them of providing tickets.

"Two members, Aruna Singh (convener of Awadh zone) and Ashok Kumar (treasurer, Hardoi) have been suspended from the party membership as they were found to be indulging in providing party tickets on the pretext of money (sic)," Kejriwal told mediapersons.

The AAP leader also appealed to the media to inform the party about any such activity and conduct sting operations.

Kejriwal said action was taken on the basis of proper evidences against the two. If anyone is found indulging in such activities, that person will be suspended within a day.

He told IANS he would be visiting Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi March 25-26. He would ask people there about his candidature against Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi from the same seat for the Lok Sabha elections.

He also said that after Varanasi, he would focus on Delhi and conduct road shows in all the seven constituencies of the national capital.

In Cong & BJP everything is transparent. The Party High Command itself is " Selling " tickets to Highest Bidders openly and Shamelessly in Cong & BJP. Hence no one is getting caught in BJP-Cong for underhand dealing.
Being shameless has lots of Benefit.

A breath of fresh air, a respite from the corrupt and communal stink that emanates from the other leading political parties.

Arvind Kejriwal is a super educated guy, who could have easily had a cushy life for himself and his family if he chose to. Instead, he has taken up this mission of bringing a honest alternative to India politics. Yet we have so many fools who instead of supporting this change to honest governance are still intent on voting the same corrupt and communal thugs back. How can a nation survive its fools.

That is the way it should be.

Because of their meteoric rise in popularity, there is a big line of corrupt people to join AAP and somehow get elected. Later they will sell themselves for Crores of Rupees showing their true colour just like Binny did.

No matter AAP wins or loses, they should screen each and every candidate thoroughly and not let corrupt and cheats to be in their cadre. Even if they are left with few honest people, that is good enough.

If not, what would be the difference between AAP and BJP who has a very long list of corrupt candidates as their nominees like Yeddy, Ramulu and the list is getting bigger and bigger because BJP’s doors are open to anyone – however corrupt - at this point of time. Whereas they are systematically eliminating good leaders like Jaswant Sinha etc and nearly did that with Mr. Advani.

Hope AAP win at least enough seats to rein in these seasoned dishonest political parties.

The major credit for this goes to Arvind Kejriwal and persons like Manish Sisodia etc. but it is really Arvind who brings this clean image to the party. India desperately needs people like him. We wish he stays untainted from corruption, communalism and any other negative trait all his political life while tactfully dealing with dirty people in this dirty world of politics who will constantly strive to bring him down.

I was watching TV9 and they were discussing to allot in our Cong/BJP they are demanding more than 10 cores. If all the parties takes action like AAP all the major parties will vanish. If they pay money like this they will recover it within 5 years. See Shobakka. she got 7.5 cores, gold 1.5 kg. As per indian income tax rule one can have only gold worth of 20 laks. who will question her? only our Government will catch and punish ordinary people like me even if we support these corrupt parties.

This is real Honesty. Keep it up AAP.
BJP or Cong can never take such punitive action so fast against their own dishonest party members for eating money. They can just foolishly call Kejriwal as Nautanki.
Surely I will vote for AAP in spite of knowing that they may not win.
