Bangalore, Jun 8: Leading a high-level trade and cultural delegation, chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, left on a three-day Gulf visit on Wednesday.
They will visit the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman during their sojourn. They are expected to seek setting up of joint ventures in the state.
While in Dubai, UAE they are scheduled to visit the Internet City, Media City, Knowledge City, Jebel Ali Free Zone and Emmar Group's complex. They will also hold talks with investors.
On June 9, Kumaraswamy will take part in the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Abu Dhabi Kannada Sangha. On June 10, he will attend the investors' meet organized by the government of Abu Dhabi.
Flying to Muscat on June 11, his delegation will attend an investors' meet organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and return home on June 12.
Prominent among the delegation are medical education minister Dr V S Acharya, MLA Puttaraju, Balakrishna, Vishwanath and Anil H Laad, secretaries of Kannada Sahitya Parishat and department of Kannada and culture and others.
