Kundapur: Body of missing woman found in well

Kundapur, Mar 25: The body of a married woman, who had gone missing on Monday March 24, was found in a well on the morning of Tuesday March 25.

Suhasini Gillis D’Souza (45), a resident of Wilson Compound at Kody Road in the town, had mysteriously disappeared from her home on Monday.

A missing case had been filed in the local police station. Her lifeless body was recovered from a well today.

The police got a call from some locals that they had seen body of a woman floating in a well. The police personnel sought the help of fire brigade personnel in retrieving the body from inside the well, and succeeded in bringing the body out and establishing its identity.

Suhasini is survived by husband, Gillis D’Souza, a son, and two daughters. Situations if any, which would have driven her to take the drastic decision of suicide, are not known. Police are looking into the case from all angles.
