Karkala, Jun 8: The District Crime Investigating Bureau (DCIB) police on Wednesday June 7 evening confiscated a bag containing 10 native bombs from a bar at Muniyal near here. The police have arrested the bar manager in this regard.
The DCIB police led by inspector Dinesh Kumar raided the bar after receiving a sure tip-off about native bombs in the bar. The police came to the bar under the guise of customers and seized the bag containing 10 bombs.
The police report said that these native bombs are often used in hunting down wild boars.
The police have arrested bar manager Lokesh Kumar in this regard. He is expected to be produced before the court on Thursday June 8.
Meanwhile bar owner Shivprasad who was subjected to enquiry by the Hebri police has said that some one has place the bomb in his bar and informed the DCIB police to take a revenge on him.
