Kundapur, Mar 27: “I feel it is in the interests of everyone not to talk about Arvind Kejriwal, who has the habit of making unsubstantiated allegations against leaders of other parties as well other political outfits. He also is involved with malicious propaganda and misinformation campaign,” said former Karnataka chief minister, and BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Shimoga,  B S Yeddyurappa.

He was speaking to press persons after visiting Goddess Mookambika Temple in Kollur in the taluk on Wednesday March 26 morning and offering puja there.

“BJP is getting wholehearted support all over the state. Everyone has come together with the sole aim of seeing Narendra Modi as our next prime minister. When I was the chief minister, I earned the blessings and good wishes of the populace by providing an administration that was efficient and people-friendly. I have always been secular, and have worked tirelessly towards providing social justice to everyone, disregarding their religious or caste affiliations. On this account, I will be getting huge support from the people. Congress government in the state is losing credibility in the eyes of the people because of its own failures. Several Congress leaders including Jaffer Sharief have deserted Congress, and its condition has become pitiable on account of dissent within the party,” he felt.

Yeddyurappa refused to field questions on Dhananjay Kumar, duly expressing himself against criticizing his former supporter-turned-JDS leader.

Byndoor constituency BJP president, B M Sukumar Shetty, secretary, Sadashiva Paduvari, and others were present with him.
