Napoli not far behind Juventus

Rome, March 28 (IANS): Former Italy head coach Giovanni Trapattoni is expecting a close match between Napoli and Juventus Sunday as the current 20-point gap does not reflect the real quality difference.

Napoli will host Juventus in a game, Trappattoni suggests, where Rafa Benitez's men are not the underdogs, reports Xinhua.

"Benitez won a lot and is experienced. The Azzurri were unlucky in the match between the teams earlier in the season but the Spanish coach knows Juve's weaknesses well. Juventus this year have been incredibly consistent but in terms of the quality of their play, they are not 20 points better than Napoli," he said.

Napoli's playmaker Hamsik looks forward to the clash after they scored a morale-boosting 4-2 win at Catania Wednesday.

"The first half of the game with Catania was all us. We scored four goals and that decided the match. After the break, Catania managed to score but in the end we controlled the game and brought the three points home. Now I can't wait for us to take on Juventus Sunday," Hamsik said.
