Moodbidri, Mar 30: In an incident which occurred at Panodi near Nellikar near here on Friday March 28, the conductor of a bus was killed after he got forcefully thrown on to the road.
Sudhakar was the unfortunate conductor of a private bus that was moving from Beltangady to Karkala at a high speed. The bus collided with a Tata Nano car that was coming from opposite direction, at Panodi. In an effort to avoid the accident, the bus driver applied brakes all of sudden. Sudhakar, who did not foresee this development, tripped and got tossed to the road. He suffered serious injuries to his head and other parts of the body and succumbed to his injuries.
