Mysore, Jun 11: The silver jubilee celebrations of the Konkani Christian Association, Mysore started on a religious note on Sunday, Jun 11.
At the Infant Jesus Shrine Pushpashram, Mysore, Arch Bishop Emeritus, Bangalore Fr Ignatius Pinto celebrated the Holy Eucharist at the solemn liturgical ceremony
Mysore Bishop Fr Thomas Anthony Vazhapilly and a host of other priests con celebrated in the Eucharist.
An august gathering of more than 800 Konkani Christians took part in the Eucharist celebration which was held in Konkani language.
President of the association Gracian Rodrigues delivered the vote of thanks after the mass.
A gala event has been planned at Kala Mandir here in the evening where ‘Soban Sanz’ will be organized by Eric Ozario and his Mand Sobhann Troupe.
