Kathmandu, June 12:) Nepal Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala on Sunday expanded his 18-member cabinet by including three new faces including Amik Serchan of Janamorcha Nepal as the second Deputy Premier.

K.P. Sharma Oli CPN-UML is the first Deputy Prime Minister with Foreign Ministry portfolio.

Serchan has been given the porfolio of Minister for Health and Population.

Other two faces include Hridayesh Tripathi of Nepal Sadbhavana Party (A) who has been appointed as Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply and Gyanendra Bahadur Karki of Nepali Congress (Democratic) who has been alloted the portfolio of Minister of State for Water Resources, according to Radio Nepal.

The cabinet headed by Koirala now includes 21 members from six political parties. The Nepal Workers and Peasants Party has decided to remain outside the government The new ministers will be sworn in tomorrow, party sources said.
