Mangalore, Apr 11: “It is a tragedy that the JD (S) has an alliance with the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI)," said Pranavananda Swami, the president of Bharath Kranthi Sena.
Addressing a press meet here on Friday April 11, Swami said, “The SDPI is a terrorist party. It had links with Yasin Bhatkal and Riyaz Bhatkal.”
He said, “The Bharat Kranti Sena severely condemns this alliance. Deve Gowda, Kumaraswamy and M Krishnaappa should explain the alliance with the SDPI. The Udupi district president of the JD (S) Deviprasad Shetty met Abdul Nasir Madani and has demanded Madani’s release. Hence the JD (S) should expel him from the party.”
“U R Ananthamurthy is a terrorist writer. He is spreading rumors against Modi and campaigning for the Congress; his tongue should be slashed. Dr Girish Karnad and Gouri Lankesh should be excommunicated from the society,” he alleged.
Leveling allegations at Malabar Gold Jewelers, he said “Several kilograms of gold were seized at Mangalore, Bangalore and Kerala airports. This will harm the economy of the country. Malabar Gold Jewelers has an equal hand in this smuggling of gold.”
He added, “Many Hindu youth are involved in this smuggling and thus several of them are behind bars. The investigation agencies-Interpol, NIA and CBI should conduct a probe against Malabar Gold. Our Bharath Kranthi Sena will hold a protest in front of all Malabar Gold branches in Karnataka as well as in other states on April 28.”
With regard to the Kodikere issue, Swami said, “Mohiuddin Bava should withdraw his statement that he has set right all problems in Kodikere since becoming MLA. The complaint filed on the residents of Kodikere should also be taken back. Today, several Hindu outfits will join in Kodikere to take a decision. If any unexpected incident takes place in district, Prathibha Kulai should bear the responsibility.”
He also said that he and other swamis like him had considered contesting the elections to clean up the political system, but then decided not to contest as they did not want to come in Modi's way or spoil his votes.
