Mangalore, Apr 13:  “The people of Dakshina Kannada are intelligent and have decided whom they will vote for in this district. Congress leaders are indulging in personal attacks on Modi and Nalin Kumar Kateel. District-in-charge-minister and Vijay Kumar Shetty are questioning the contribution of the BJP’s MP candidate. Let them come on a forum to discuss their contribution in 50 years after the late Srinivas Mallya,” said former BJP minister B Nagaraj Shetty.

He was addressing a press meet at the district BJP campaign office on Saturday April 12.

Shetty also said, “In the recent incidents at Kalladka, Ullal, and Suratkal, cases have been filed against several BJP workers under IPC Section 307. It is to prevent them from working for the BJP. Hence, people will give a proper answer to the Congress Party in this election. The police department has filed cases due to political pressure from Congress leaders. When I was a minister, I never pressurized the police department to file cases and no Muslims have been hurt due to me. They are misusing the police department. The people have decided to make Modi the Prime Minister.”

On this occasion, Diwakar Samani and Ranganath Kini were also present.

STRANGE BUT TRUE. I KNOW MR. NAGARAJ SHETTY WON THE MLA SEAT FROM BANTWAL AND ENJOYED MINISTERSHIP UNDER BJP. FEW MONTHS BACK I SAW HIM WITH MR. KUMARASWAMY AND HEARED THAT HE JOINED JDS. NOW AGAIN I AM SEEING HIM WITH BJP. IF THIS TYPE OF PEOPLE ARE IN POLITICS WHAT IS FATE OF A COMMON MAN. FOR THE MONEY THEY CAN DO ANYTHING. SHAMELESS PEOPLE.
