Mangalore: Sr Tressila conferred with PhD

Mangalore, Apr 14: Sr Tressilla (Maria Emillian Pinto) was conferred with a degree   Doctor of Philosophy in History for her thesis: "A History of Bethany Congregation Mangalore and its Contribution to the field of Education and Social change in Karnataka".

At present, Sr Tressilla is the principal of Bethany Convent High School, Sao Jose De Areal Goa. She is the sister of Dr Pius Fidelis Pinto, a historian, and the Parish Priest of St Francis Xavier Church, Ferrar, of Mangalore Diocese.
