Udupi: Divya Hegde leads Women Congress' padayatra

Udupi, Apr 15: The Mahila Congress organized a padayatra here on Tuesday April 15.

The rally was initiated by Divya Hegde, daughter of Jayaprakash Hegde along with Veronica Cornelio, the president of Mahila Congress.

Divya Hegde said, “Jayaprakash Hegde is such a good person. He gives more importance to women empowerment and their security. He also encourages women to take leadership.”
 
She urged the people to support the Congress party.

The padayatra began from the Congress office and passed via Brahmagiri - Ajjarkad - Harsha mall - Udupi church - service bus stand - Chittaranjan circle - Mitra hospital - Jodukatte and culminated at the starting point.

About a hundred women actively participated in the rally and raised slogans.

Vice-president of CMC Amrita Krishnamurty, standing committee president Celina Karkada, Bhaskar Rao Kediyoor and others were present.

    BJP people have always questioned congress what Congress has done to the Nation? It is something we are asking some invisible powers inside our body what is the heart, liver and Kidney has done to me. But when it fails you will realize the value of it. Similarly work of Congress to the Nation cannot be forgotten easily. Indira Gandhi's Dedicated her life to the Nation. Even Rajeev Gandhi dedicated for the development of the Nation. Both lost their life. The biggest achievement of the BJP is Big Mouth, Karnataka people thought They should be given one opportunity to BJP, they looted the State mercilessly This is their greatest achievement. Now they asking vote in the name of Modi have you heart beggar begging vote in the name of God! or something asking the bride for his father's name. Each candidate must say to the people what is your contribution in the respective constituency? They are very good in diverting the people's mind.
