Puttur, Jun 19: Puttur rural cops on Saturday Jun 17 under the leadership of Sunil Naik raided a gambling den in Bettampady village here. Three persons who were found gambling were arrested.

The police have seized Rs 4,029 cash, a Maruthi car and a Hero Honda Splendour Motor Cycle from the culprits.

The raid has been conducted on the direction of DK SP B Dayanand.

In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Putur Rural PS under section 87 of the Karnataka Police Act. The accused have been released on bail and the case is pending investigation.
