Kuwait, Apr 19: After the grand success of "Jai- Ho" Sukhwinder Singh Live In Concert, with 2500 crowd Apna Bharat Society – Kuwait is now all set to host another extravaganza 'Shukran Ya Kuwait' live and unplugged Concert (first time ever in Kuwait ) to be held on Friday 2nd May 2014 at American International School, Maidan Hawally- Kuwait from 6:30pm onwards. 

The event will feature the famous singing sensation Benny Dayal and playback singer Shefali Alvares.
Apna Bharat Society – Kuwait organized "Jai Ho - Sukhwinder Singh Live In Concert" to support Apnalaya Mumbai (Noble cause) and this time again they are ready to contribute their efforts. The event is organized as a token of appreciation to the great country Kuwait which has given shelter, chance to earn daily bread and better future to many nationalities.

 
Kerala based Benny who was born and raised in Abu Dhabi has carved a place for himself on the glittering Bollywood scene with tracks like Batamiz Dil from Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani, Kaise Mujhe Tum from Ghajini, Pappu Can’t Dance Saala from Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa and recently ABCD from Yaarian.  A versatile singer he has a number of awards to his credit. He sings in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam and has worked with musical greats like A R Rahman, Amit Trivedi, Salim-Sulaiman, Vishal Shekhar, Pritam and Himesh Reshammiya.

He is a huge rage down South as well with hit numbers like “Paatonnu Paadan Marnnathende” from the movie “Kilukkam kilukilukkam in Malayalam,“tangaali Tandeya” and “Romeokalige Juliet” from the movie ‘Love Guru’ in Kannada, “Oh madhu I love you”, “love you Soniyo” and “Korisna Rangbaazi” from the movie Rangbaaz in Bengali, and “Gum Gum Yeyo” from ‘darling’ in Telugu.

Born in a musical family daughter of the legendary Indian jazz singer Joe Alvares, Shefali has sung in both Telugu and Hindi Movies. She worked with many famous composers such as Pritam, Sandeep Chowta, Raghu Dixit, Amit Trivedi, Vishal-Shekar, S.Thaman, Sunny M.R, Amartya Rahul, Sangeet and Sidharth Haldipur.


Shefali is a volatile and passionate vocalist, deriving all her energy from the bustling Metropolis of Mumbai. Since a little child has grown up in the lap of music. Her music taste includes; Jazz, R N B, Rock, Retro, Pop, Semi Classical Opera, Funk, Lounge, Experimental Fusion and Hip-hop. She has pursued vocal training for over 6 years with the renowned teacher Celia Lobo, also studied Hindustani Classical for over a year and has been performing very selectively, at Concerts with her Dad, Mr Joe Alvares and Musical Luminaries like Louis Banks, Karl Peters, Loy Mendonca, etc.

Her playback career in Bollywood paints her as quite the party child. She has sung hit songs such as 'badtameez dil' (Ye jawani hai diwani), Subah Hone Na De (Tu Mera Hero), Party On My Mind (Race 2), Dhating Naach (Phata Poster Nikhla Hero), The Dhoom 3 title track, Ratta Maar (Student of the year) etc.

The evening will also introduce the super Dancing Divas kids, local & real talents from Kuwait They will be performing on different- different dance forms.

The other attraction of the event will be Hindi oldies by Kuwait's Kishore Kumar fame Mubarak Al Rashed Al Aazmi. 
 
Born in a Kuwaiti family, Mubarak is a young man gifted with an extraordinary talent. He sings, but unlike other Arabs he sings in Hindi in an almost perfect diction with an almost perfect intonation. He love to sing songs of the legendary Kishore Kumar which made him popular as "Kuwait's Kishore Kumar".
