Mangalore, Apr 19: St Christopher association of Mangalore celebrated Easter at the Matr Vatslya ashram near Sharada Vidyalaya Kodialbail, Mangalore on Saturday April 19.
The manager in charge and president of the ashram Shreenath Hegde gave the details of the ashram and thanked the St Christopher association.
Vinay Kumar Rai, a Mangalore based young assistant and vice president of the Aurus Speciality Company Ltd Thailand handed over the donations to the inmates, which included hundred kilograms of rice, five thousand rupees cash and fruits.
Honorary president Susheel Noronah spoke on the purpose of sharing the Easter celebrations with the inmates of the ashram.
President Raymond D’Cunha welcomed the gathering while the secretary Herald D’souza gave the vote of thanks. Senior members of the association were also present for the celebration.
