Mangalore, Jun 20: In a bid to save space, the Fisheries Department will initiate all steps to sell meat and fish through booths.

This was informed by district-in-charge minister Nagaraj Shetty, while felicitating the winners of Taluk Panchayat by-election from Vittal constituency. The programme was organized by the Nagarika Kriya Samithi of Ammaimar-Kodmamn in Bantwal taluk.

RTC will be distributed to all the houses in Dakshina Kannada district by December. Also by November 1, every house will have electricity, drinking water facility and toilets. High schools will be set up to provide education to children residing at far off places, he added.
