Mangalore, Apr 24: A case of delivering provocative address stands registered in Pandeshwar police station here against Ali Hassan, president of Merchants Association Mangalore. Hassan has been accused of delivering an inflammatory speech at the protest demonstration organized in front of the office of Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner on April 20 by Popular Front of India.

The case was filed on the basis of a complaint made by Rajesh Pavitran, district president of Akhil Bharat Hindu Yuvaka Sabha. In the complaint, Pavitran has claimed that Hassan had warned, ‘we will not stop cattle transportation. If Bajrang Dal members and policemen have the potential and courage, let them stop this activity. We warn you not to die in our hands.’

For the purpose of vote bank it is known fact that the congress is backing Muslims. and in the name of Hinduthwa, BJP is provocating Hindus. prem, Yours is not a bad suggestion. This is to add some finer touches to it. Having put all these useless creatures in that single cell in Thihar Jail - for that matter any other jail would also do - allow them to go at each others throats, without creating any problem to us, and finish themselves off till the last one. After locking up the cell, throw the key into the Arabian sea.

I recollect having come across way back in the early seventies, when late Kushwanth Singh was the Editor of Illustrated weekly, there was a cartoonised suggestion in which the bigots of both sides were shown mounted on steeds, clothed in their favorite green and saffron coloures, armed and allowed to wage yet another battle of Panipet till the last man, to end the communal strife in our country.

Why don’t the Beef Merchant's Association and the leading lawyers of the region with co-operation from the majority Hindus find a fool proof legal method to procure cattle from the farmers and legally transport them in a special vehicle to the slaughter houses?
Please remember that Beef consumption is forecast to increase by10% to 2.20 million tons during 2014 from the previous year. Beef consumption continues to rise as it remains the cheapest of all the meats available in the domestic market.
India will continue to be the leading beef exporter this year, despite slower growth in cattle, calf production and higher domestic consumption.
According to Agricultural and Processed Foods Export Development Authority (APEDA), exports of meat and its products increased to $3.29 billion in 2012-13 against $2.91 billion the previous year.

The British came and ruled us for many years due to internal fighting....

It is happening in other countries. Dont let it happen by fighting each other. Muslims nearly 20-30%, Christians nearly 10% and Hindus 60-70%.
Mera Bharath Mahan.... tell every morning and see each other such a way that each other shall smile fro m heart.

If organizations like PFI is not nipped in the Bud, with the way they are growing and provocating other communities, India will have another IM originating from Mangalore to deal with. NIA/ATS should seriously decode this organizations & its links with other terror organizations and it nexus with IM & LET. Otherwise day will not be far of communal problem in peaceful Mangalore. The brain behind this should be interrogated for their Agenda. This is a serious national security issue if Khangress Govt do not wake up now. If the Cancer reaches final stage, then there is no cure for it. It has to be eradicated in the first stage by giving chemotherapy.

It's quite distressing that Ali Hassan who is President of Merchants Association is resorting to PFI guidelines. Merchants in Mangalore & DK in particular belong across caste & religion - You have Muslims, christians, RC's, Konkanis like GSB's, Billavas, Poojari's, Bunts etc...Bunder is like Mini India - Its similar to merchant segments in Appolo Bunder & Bori Bazzar in Mumbai & Bow Bazaar in Kolkata, Chetpet in Chennai & Balepet in Bangalore. You cannot communalise Merchants & get into tie up with outlawed organizations like PFI which is an off shoot of SIMI whose other arm is IM. Ali Hassan should be booked & PFI needs to be banned from holding such conventions. They are disturbing peace & harmony amongst Merchant community

Does it really matter? I mean today they will be booked and put behind bars, tommorow they will come out and repeat the same. This is never ending.
Mangalore has become a very sensitive area for religious matters. These things never happen in Bangalore. Hindus and Muslims are living together and cant find any clashes. After Mangalore , Hydrabad is another victim of Hindu Muslim clashes.
