Mangalore: SJEC bags three ranks, gold medal in VTU exams

Mangalore, Apr 24: Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum has announced the list of rank holders and gold medallists for the academic year 2012-13.

St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Vamanjoor has secured three ranks in BE and a gold medal in MTech.


Karthika, Mevida, Srivatsa and Sharun

Sharun Mendonca, assistant professor in the department of mechanical engineering has secured first rank in MTech in thermal power engineering and thus bagged a gold medal. He did his MTech at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalore.

Karthika S has secured the 3rd rank in BE (electrical and electronics). Currently she is a lecturer in the department of electrical and electronics engineering at St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, Mangalore.

Mevida Sony Crasta has secured the 3rd rank in BE (computer science and engineering) while Srivatsa Udupa has secured the 6th rank in BE (electronics and communications engineering).  

The management, staff and students of St Joseph Engineering College have congratulated all the rank holders and wished them all success in their future endeavours.
