Leverkusen's Kiessling to miss final two league matches

Berlin, April 29 (IANS): Bayer Leverkusen striker Stefan Kiessling will miss the last two games of the season after the Germany international tore his left hamstring.

Bayer are holding onto fourth spot in the league, which carries a Champions League play-off berth, by just a point from VfL Wolfsburg, reports Xinhua.

Bayer crashed out of this season's Champions League with a 6-1 aggregate defeat to Paris St. Germain in the last 16.

The loss of Kiessling is a blow to their hopes under coach Sascha Lewandowski with a fortnight left in the season.

The 30-year-old suffered the injury in Leverkusen's 2-2 draw at home to second-placed Borussia Dortmund Saturday, and the side's final two matches will be against Eintracht Frankfurt at home and away to Werder Bremen.
