Riyadh, Apr 30 (Agencies) : Clients stampeded a bank’s cash machine after it ran amok and started to give SR500 (Dh500) for a SR100 (Dh100) request.
A large number of depositors queued at the machine in the capital Riyadh after they were told about its sudden generosity before police arrived.
“The machine suddenly started to pop out SR500 instead of SR100 and this attracted a large number of depositors. Policemen later arrived and controlled the situation,” Sabq Arabic language newspaper said without mentioning how many clients benefited from the machine’s generosity.
