A week-long programme cum treatment has been organized by Father Muller Medical College Hospital here on the occasion of World Stroke Day on Saturday June 24, stated a press release.

The inaugural programme will be held at 9 am for the benefit of the general public near the Medical Records Department (MRD) of the hospital. The programme aims at making the public, especially the stroke-stricken patients, aware about the management of stroke.

The release also stated that all the essential tests and laboratory procedures will be done free of cost for the patients who come as out-patients under general medicine. People who are at a risk of suffering from stroke or those who have already suffered from stroke will be treated at the Institution's Physiotherapy department free of cost during the week.
