Mangalore, Jun 24: Minister B Nagaraja Shetty has ordered the officials concerned to release Rs One crore from the Natural Calamity Fund for the construction of a resistance wall at Ullal sea erosion area.

Further, the chief minister and the deputy CM have assured a delegation from Ullal consisting of Janata Dal (Secular) and BJP from Ullal which met them in Bangalore that Rs 38 crore would be released for breakwater construction in Ullal.
The delegation has requested the Chief Minister to release this amount.

The delegation included JD(S) Ullal block general secretary J Mohammed, Hyder Partipadi, Ullal town panchayat opposition group leader Babu Mogera and others.
