Manipal, Jun 25: The extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of Syndicate Bank was held here on Friday.
The meeting elected three new directors to the bank’s board of directors.
New directors M Bhaskar Rao, Bhupinder Singh Suri and A R Nagappan.
The newly elected directors, representing shareholders are: former executive director of the Indian Overseas Bank A R Nagappan, Chennai, chartered accountant from Hyderabad M Bhaskar Rao and government’s nominee at the bank’s present board Bhupinder Singh Suri, Delhi.
Meeting of the regional rural bank was be held on Sunday.
