KWAK inaugurates 15th year celebration with get-together

Kuwait, May 4: Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait successfully held its family picnic on May 2 at Messila Beach.

Over 100 members attended the picnic which was a day packed with entertainment. The picnic started off with a humble prayer to help eliminate all obstacles and to keep KWAK united by Edward D’Souza. 


Breakfast was sponsored and served by Bendict Saldanha and family. The highlights of the day were the dodge ball, knocking the ball, dog and the bone, housie housie, passing the ball, bombing the city, delicious barbeque lunch and inauguration of KWAK 15 years of celebrations.

Adults and kids took part in the group games that were ably conducted by Leena Fernandes and Group.

As Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait is completing 15 glorious years of its existence in the year of 2015, KWAK committee has decided to celebrate this occasion on February 13 2015 as a grand celebration. 

Objective of the event will be: Collection of fund for the poor children education fund of KWAK, and a fixed amount will be given as charity to Manasa- pamboor for the mentally challenged children. The inauguration of 15 years of celebrations was done by the founder members and present committee members by cutting the ribbon.

It was a fun filled day where all members shared the joy and happiness as a family.
