New Delhi, Jun 27: Heavy showers lashed the national capital on Tuesday morning bringing down the temperatures considerably.

The respite from the heat though has brought with it a lot of inconvenience for commuters as water logging was reported in many areas.

The met department has confirmed they are pre monsoon showers.

The showers have brought down the minimum temperature in the capital to 21.5 degrees Celsius that's 8 degrees below normal.

The met department has predicted rain across north India later in the day.
