At least 13 feared killed in Dubai road crash - 16 injured


Dubai, May 10 (Emirates 247) : At least 13 workers are feared killed in a fatal crash on Dubai’s Emirates Road on Saturday morning.
 
According to Dubai Police, the incident happened when a bus carrying 29 workers collided with a truck after the Dubai Club Bridge in the direction of Al Ruwaiyah. 
 
Sixteen men are injured in the accident.

The bus rammed into the truck that was parked on the side of the road.
 
The injured have been transferred to Rashid Hospital and Al Baraha Hospital. 
 
Major-General Khamis Mattar Al Muzinah, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police; Brigadier Anass Almatrooshi, Director of General Administration of Transport and Rescue; Col Ali Ahmed Ghanem, Director of Bur Dubai Police Station; Lt Col Omar bin Hammad, Deputy Director of Al Rashidiya Police Station were present at the accident site.

 
All workers are Asians.
