Beltangady, Jun 28: A 15-year-old school boy died of blood caner at Ujire near here recently.
Prakhyat, a class IX student of SDM Kannada medium school at Ujire had been ailing from blood cancer for the last few years. He had been under treatment for the same. But there were no signs of improvement in his health.
He was admitted to a private hospital in Mangalore in the last week after his health condition worsened. Though he was given all necessary treatment, doctors could not save him as he breathes his last on Monday June 26.
