Puttur, Jun 30: Heavy rains during the past days have sent Kumaradhara river soaring, resulting in the Kumaradhara bridge getting submerged. The water in the river has been flowing over the bridge since 8 am on Thursday.

This is the vital link to Shri Kukke Subrahmanya temple. Traffic had to be diverted via Kadaba and Panja. Rivers and streams in and around Panja, Manila and Pulikukku also have been overflowing at dangerous levels.
